George Braunstein has been practicing law since 1988. He is a skilled litigator with significant trial experience. Mr. Braunstein has handled numerous complex cases in a variety of practice areas including entertainment, intellectual property, business, healthcare, products liability, personal injury, real estate, constitutional law, and finance.
Entertainment law is one of the cornerstones of Braunstein & Braunstein, PC, and is one of Mr. Braunstein’s specialties. Having personally produced over nine major motion pictures, Mr. Braunstein has an insider’s knowledge of the entertainment industry that other attorneys lack. Throughout the years, Mr. Braunstein has forged working relationships with American and foreign film production, finance and distribution companies. Mr. Braunstein has a very diversified clientele from the motion picture, television, and music recording entertainment industry. Mr. Braunstein has represented motion picture production companies, distribution companies, as well as individual actors, directors, recording artists, music publishers, editors and screenwriters.
Mr. Braunstein also has a very successful healthcare practice, representing and advising physicians, healthcare providers and other medical groups on litigation and regulatory related matters. He is intimately familiar with the state, federal and government administrative agencies that govern healthcare laws. He has also worked closely with state and federal government healthcare agencies, national healthcare organizations, community hospitals, and pharmacy providers. Mr. Braunstein has represented providers in all aspects of administrative hearings and investigation before the Medical Board and other administrative agencies. Mr. Braunstein has also successfully represented physicians in disputes with their medical practice groups, hospitals and insurance companies.
Mr. Braunstein has extensive experience representing individuals and businesses in a multitude of commercial litigation matters such as breach of contract, employment disputes, fraud, deceptive trade practices and intellectual property concerns. Mr. Braunstein regularly advises and represents clients in other complex litigation matters such as personal injury, products liability, and real estate. Mr. Braunstein’s range of proficiency provides him with the arsenal necessary to successfully represent his clients in practically any substantive practice area.
Mr. Braunstein has served as a mediator for the Los Angeles Superior Court. He also had the prestigious honor of serving as a judge in the International Court of Commerce in Paris. Mr. Braunstein frequently lectures at UCLA and USC. He has also given seminars at the UCLA Independent Film and Television Producers Program.
